About Me

My name is Cheetah {yes, my real, birth-given name} and I am from Tennessee- born and raised.  I love crafting... my husband makes fun of me because I have a whole closet and dresser filled with craft stuff.  That being said I love Pinterest, I could spend all day just looking, getting ideas and creating new things; or rearranging old things to make them new again.  I also have a tendancy to change hobbies and they normally don't last very long; one day jewelry making, the next day its wreaths and the next it could be sewing :\.  I blame my love for crafts on this... I can't just stick with one thing so I bounce around hobbies to keep myself entertained.  I never go in with the intention that I will make it a career or make profit from it -I usually spend way more that it would have cost me to just buy it- but I love seeing the product of my labor.

I met my husband, Spencer, in August of 2008.  We met at a house party of a mutual friend and under normal circumstances we shouldn't have really met at all... but as fate {thank goodness} had it we did and it has been a whirlwind ever since.  While dating Spencer bought a house in a -sometimes awkwardly- quiet, suburban neighborhood and we adopted a dog named Sadie.  He popped the question in December 2011. We were married in October 2012.  We are now starting our own little family of 4 [Sadie included]... our first baby is due in July 2014.

Once we found out that we are expecting things seemed to start moving at warp speed and I was having a hard time remembering the tiniest details-between working a full time job and co-managing our home with my husband- so that's how this blog was started.  I am eager to the fact that I will have something to look back on to what I am sure is going to be the craziest, sweetest, hectic, most joy-filled part of our lives!

We welcomed our sweet baby girl, who we lovingly call bug, on June 19th.  She has been the biggest blessing to both Spencer and I.  We are blessed to see her grow into a fun, loving little girl and we can't wait to see what the future holds for her.

  5. Found you on The Blog Life. First off I couldn't relate to you crafting habits any more. I have what I refer to as my craft closet that is packed full of all kinds of supplies and ideas. I often bounce around usually between wreaths, pallet projects, painting and knitting. Secondly that sweet little girl of yours is ADORABLE :)!
